City of Pointe-Claire Named Team of the Year by the Quebec Swimming Federation

The City of Pointe-Claire is proud to announce that the Masters Swimming Club has been named Team of the Year at the annual gala of the Quebec Swimming Federation, held on September 19.

Bringing together approximately 225 swimmers aged 18 and over, the club welcomes members of all levels, from recreational swimmers to high-performance athletes.

The 2025-2026 season was particularly remarkable for the team. These swimmers set 47 provincial records, 31 national records, and 2 world records. Four athletes also represented the club at the World Championships in Singapore. In 2026, the team also set a Guinness World Record in the 100 × 200 m freestyle relay.

Beyond its athletic achievements, the club continues to distinguish itself through its team spirit, social activities, and involvement in the community. This provincial recognition is a testament to the commitment and dedication of its athletes, coaches, and volunteers.

Congratulations to the entire team on this well-deserved honour!
