Parking Info System and Overnight Street Parking Restrictions to Begin the Night of November 14 to 15

News
Published on November 14, 2025 to 11:11 a.m.

With the winter season rapidly approaching, the City of Pointe-Claire would like to remind you that overnight street parking restrictions will come into effect the night of November 14 to November 15, 2025, and continue through April 15, 2026. During this period, street parking from midnight to 7 a.m. may be prohibited throughout the City.

To verify whether overnight street parking is permitted on a certain night, you can visit our Parking Info System page, previously named the Snow Info system, or call the Parking Info line at 514-630-1205.

Both tools will be updated daily at 5 p.m. with the status of overnight street parking. Several factors are taken into consideration, including forecasted weather conditions, snow and ice accumulation, and snow removal and street cleaning operations.

Respect the Posted Signage

Throughout Pointe-Claire, street signs indicate whether parking is permitted or prohibited on specific streets. These regulations are in effect year-round and must be followed, even if the Parking Info system allows overnight parking.

Always check the posted signage before parking your vehicle to ensure that you comply with parking regulations.

Awareness Campaign

Inspectors from the City’s Inspection – Public Security Department have been patrolling the territory and issuing reminder notices to some individuals parked in locations that will be prohibited starting the night of November 14 to 15.

If you have received a reminder notice on your car, this implies that overnight parking may not always be permitted at that location.

Thank you for your cooperation.
