Pointe-Claire athletes stand out in canoe-kayak competitions

Several athletes from the Pointe-Claire Canoe Kayak Club recently represented Pointe-Claire at canoe-kayak competitions, earning several medals and achieving strong results.

At the Junior Pan American Championships, Cédric Bourgeois won the silver medal in the C2 200 m and finished 8th in the C1 500 m.

At the Canada Cup, Cédric Bourgeois and Édouard Pellerin won the gold medal in the C4 500 m, in addition to several other medals. Olive Archambault also won gold in the C4 500 m and C4 200 m, as well as silver in the C2 500 m. Matthew Brotherwood, meanwhile, earned two fourth-place finishes.
