Published on February 21, 2025 to 12:00 a.m.
The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to inform you that sewer repairs and paving work will take place in May 2025 on the westbound service road of Highway 40 (Félix-Leclerc), between Ellingham Avenue and Saint-Jean Boulevard.

Work phases

The work will be carried out in two phases. Each phase will last several days. To minimize the impact on traffic, the most extensive work will be carried out mainly over two weekends, from Thursday evening to Monday morning.

The phasing of the work may change according to the contractor’s methods or the requirements of the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable. Dates and schedules of the work are also subject to change due to weather conditions.

Impacts on road access during the first phase (blue zone):

  • At highway entrances;

  • Ellingham and Selkirk avenues via the westbound service road;

  • Saint-Jean north off-ramp.

Detours will be available to road users during closures.

We will keep you informed of additional details as the work approaches, and for each phase.

Thank you for your cooperation.
