The 39th Edition of Exposcience is Just Around the Corner!

Put on your lab coat and goggles, as the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre will be hosting the 39th edition of Exposcience on Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Numerous activities, both educational and entertaining, will be offered to curious minds of all ages for a weekend full of discoveries. 

Saturday, November 8: Animals on the Move  

Crawling, jumping, walking, running... how do animals choose how they move? Do they also go on scenic walks just to look around? The Groupe uni des éducateurs-naturalistes et professionnels en environnement (GUEPE), a non-profit organization, will have a booth where you can discover how animals move, whether they are seeking food, building a nest or looking for a place to hide!

Sunday, November 9: Diurnal or Nocturnal? It’s All About Rhythm 

Discover the secrets of animals and their incredible ability to adapt during the day or night. Through games and artifacts, explore how these animals survive at different times of the day. It’s all about rhythm!

Special Workshops

  • Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Art workshop to mark the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation
  • Sunday, from 1 to 5 p.m.: When art meets science, led by cultural mediators

Organized in collaboration with Concordia University, this major exhibition aims to make science accessible to the general public. Many fields and organizations are represented, including physics, biology, biochemistry, engineering, kinesiology, psychology, health, chemistry, physiology, Let’s Talk Science and Space Club. 

Free admission. Accessible building. 

The Stewart Hall Cultural Centre is located at 176 Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road.
