The Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre, Bob-Birnie Arena and Pointe-Claire Public Library are Celebrating their 60th Anniversary in 2025

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre, Bob-Birnie Arena, and Pointe-Claire Public Library—an important historical milestone for the City.

Over the past six decades, these institutions have been at the heart of Pointe-Claire's rich and diverse sports, cultural, and leisure programming. We invite all citizens and community members to visit these buildings and take part in the exciting workshops, events, and activities offered year-round.

To commemorate these municipal facilities, the City will host celebrations at the Aquatic Centre and Bob-Birnie Arena this spring followed by events at the Pointe-Claire Public Library in the fall. These festivities will be open to the public and feature themed activities for all ages.
