The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to inform you that a permit for tree felling, stump removal and tree planting has been granted to the Fairview shopping centre. Work will begin tomorrow, Friday, October 6, 2023.
Description of work
In the Fairview shopping centre parking lot, there will be:
The following species have been selected to be planted:
In addition to these new tree plantings on their property, 10 more will be planted along Brunswick Boulevard.
These 42 new trees will contribute to the vitality of Pointe-Claire's urban canopy.

In the Fairview shopping centre parking lot, there will be:
- The felling of 20 trees
- The stump removal of 23 trees. This consists of removing the stumps left in the ground after the trees have been felled.
- The planting of 32 new trees
The following species have been selected to be planted:
- Celtis Occidentalis (3)
- Quercus macrocarpa (3)
- Alnus glutinosa (2)
- Picea burgens (2)
- Ostrya virginiana (2)
- Acer rubrum (5)
- Gleditsia triacanthos (5)
- Pinus nigra (2)
- Aesculus hippocastanum (2)
- Tilia americana (6)
