Update: Resumption of work – Lakeside Avenue and chemin du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore

The City of Pointe-Claire informs you that work will resume on the potable water lines of the City of Montreal from Monday, April 7 until mid-June 2025.
Construction Site Information
• Scheduled date: from Monday, April 7 until mid-June 2025, Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekends as needed.
• Location: Lakeside Avenue, between Highway 20 and chemin du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore; and chemin du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore, between Ovide Avenue and Lakeside Avenue.
• Work overseen by: City of Montreal.
Impact of the Work
Traffic and Parking Restrictions on Lakeside Avenue
• Scheduled date: from Monday, April 7 until mid-June 2025.
• Affected addresses: Lakeside Avenue.
• Restrictions: local traffic only. During the day, one of two lanes will be closed with alternating traffic. The obstruction will be removed at night.
Traffic and Parking Restrictions on Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road
• Scheduled date: 3 days between April 7 and April 28, 2025.
• Affected addresses: chemin du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore, between Ovide Avenue and Lakeside Avenue
• Restrictions: alternating traffic with daytime flaggers for all users.
Traffic and Parking Restrictions on Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore Road
• Scheduled date: from April 28, 2025, until the end of the work.
• Affected addresses: chemin du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore between Ovide Avenue and Lakeside Avenue
• Restrictions:
– Buses will need to use the temporary route via the bike path.
– Motorists will take the detour routes planned via Lakebreeze Avenue, Donegani Avenue, and Saint-Jean Boulevard westbound; or via Saint-Jean Boulevard and Highway 20 eastbound, as last year.
