Annual Pruning Operations in Preparation for 2026 Snow Removal Activities

The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to you that the annual tree pruning operations carried out in preparation for snow removal activities are currently underway and will continue until December 15, 2026.

The work consists of raising low-hanging branches along streets and sidewalks on public trees located on municipal property or on private property adjacent to the roadway, in order to facilitate the passage of snow removal equipment.

The work is performed in accordance with municipal standards and best practices to preserve tree health. Cut branches will be chipped and collected on the same day.
