Lifting of Boil Water Advisory – Bowling Green Avenue and Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road

The City of Pointe-Claire advises residents that the boil water advisory issued following the repair of a water main break at Bowling Green Avenue and Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road, has been lifted.

Residents were notified of the lifting of the boil water advisory through door hanger distribution and may now use the water without boiling it.

Boil Water Advisory in Effect – Bowling Green Avenue and Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road

August 4, 2026

The City of Pointe-Claire advises that the water main break that occurred on Bowling Green Avenue and  Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road has been repaired.

The following homes are now under a precautionary boil water advisory until further notice:

  • 2 to 15, Bowling Green Avenue
  • 222 Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road

Affected residents must boil their water for at least one minute before consuming it or using it for drinking, food preparation, or brushing teeth.

Residents will be notified when the boil water advisory is lifted through the delivery of a door hanger and an update to this notice.

This advisory will be updated as the situation evolves.

Water Shutoff – Bowling Green Avenue and Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road

The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to advise you that a water main break has occurred on Bowling Green Avenue and Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road.

 A water shutoff is required in order to carry out the repairs. 
The following homes are affected by this service interruption:

  • 2 to 15 Bowling Green Avenue
  • 222 Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road

Work will begin shortly.

This notice will be updated as the situation evolves.
