Lifting of Boil Water Advisory – Chestnut and Heather Avenues

The City of Pointe-Claire advises residents that the boil water advisory issued following the repair of a water main break on Chestnut and Heather Avenues has been lifted. 

Residents were notified of the lifting of the boil water advisory through door hanger distribution and may now use the water without boiling it.

Water Shutoff on April 15 – Chestnut and Heather Avenues

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that a water shutoff is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, due to work being carried out.

Addresses affected

• 104 to 124 Chestnut Avenue
• 141 to 163 Heather Avenue

Water shutoff

• Scheduled date: April 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
• If you are affected, you will receive a paper notice before the shutoff.

What should I do?

• Make sure you have an adequate water supply.

Preventive Boil Water Advisory

Once water service is restored, a boil water advisory will be in effect until further notice.

Affected residents must boil their water for at least one minute before consuming it or using it for drinking, food preparation, or brushing teeth.

Residents will be notified when the boil water advisory is lifted through the delivery of a door hanger and an update to this notice.
