Reconstruction Work on the Staircase at Terra-Cotta Natural Park

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that reconstruction work on the wooden staircase between Viburnum Avenue and Soccer Field 2 will begin on September 8 and continue through October 30.

The existing staircase will be rebuilt using natural stone, in a style similar to the staircase in front of the chalet at Terra-Cotta Natural Park.

This work will include the following improvements:

• improved drainage;
• installation of a new handrail;
• addition of a new bike ramp;
• addition of greenery near the stairs.

Traffic and Detours 

To ensure pedestrian safety, access to the sports fields from Viburnum Avenue will be closed for the duration of the work.

To access the sports facilities, you will need to enter from one of the following locations:

• Terra-Cotta Natural Park;
• the parking lot on Terra-Cotta Avenue.

Local traffic will not be affected by the construction work.
