Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Montreal

Did you know that for several years the Pointe-Claire Volunteer Rescue Unit (USVPC) has been providing medical and first responder services during the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Montreal? Thanks to their great expertise and equipment, the members of the rescue unit are able to support such a large event.

This year, 26 members divided into 5 patrol teams participated in the activities surrounding the parade. The teams patrolled the area of Sainte-Catherine Street and Union Avenue to assist participants in need. To do their work, the unit deployed its all-terrain vehicle, six-wheel ambulance, and mobile clinic.
