The Montreal Police Service (SPVM) is responsible for the protection of citizens throughout the island of Montreal. The neighborhood station 5 (PDQ 5) of the SPVM, located in Pointe-Claire, provides police services to the City of Dorval and the Towns of L'Île-Dorval and Pointe-Claire.
