The Inspection Service – Public Safety offers assistance 24/7 by phone and in person to citizens, as well as to authorities when needed. This service does not replace medical, police, or fire emergency services. Public Safety inspectors also ensure the implementation of municipal regulations.

West Island Communication Center

Serving the cities of Baie-D'Urfé, Dorval, Kirkland, Pointe-Claire, Montreal West, Senneville, and Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, the West Island Communication Center's mission is to receive and handle citizens' calls regarding public safety and public works. The Center is open 24 hours a day, serves over 100,000 citizens, and receives nearly 45,000 calls annually. It is also responsible for coordinating communications with neighboring cities and relevant stakeholders.
