Did you know?

  • A child will use about 6,000 diapers until potty training, which represents up to a ton of waste.
  • Disposable diapers are made of plastic (derived from petroleum) and cellulose (derived from wood). For one child, this represents half a barrel of oil and four and a half trees. Moreover, the production of disposable diapers uses a large volume of water.
  • One washable diaper is equivalent to about 300 disposable diapers.
