Description
Children see plants all around them — in forests, fields, lakes, the sea, the soil, our homes… and even on their plates! So, we might think we know exactly what a plant is… but do we really? What sets a plant apart from other living beings? Why do plants produce nectar? Pollen? Seeds and fruits? Using specimens, participants will try to identify certain plants and recognize some of their key characteristics.
