Description

A halo of light! ''The Goldberg Variations or Aria with some variations BWV 988 was composed during Bach's last years. It was originally written for a 2-manual harpsichord, which makes it more difficult to perform on the piano, as there is a frequent use of crossings. The work is an achievement of the Theme and Variations form. It includes a wealth of harmonies, rhythms and technical refinements, all based on counterpoint writing”.

A presentation of the Goldbergs will be put into words (in French).
