The City of Pointe-Claire reminds you that a permit is required between June 1 and September 15 to use the boat launch ramp and to park a vehicle with a boat trailer in the parking lot at Alexandre-Bourgeau Park. A limited number of permits are available.
How to Obtain a Permit
A permit is required to access the boat launch ramp and to park a vehicle with a boat trailer in the parking lot at Alexandre-Bourgeau Park.
Permit Sale Dates

Permits are available online only, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Required Documents
- Photo ID with proof of residency
- Trailer registration certificate
- If the trailer is registered under a business name: an official letter on company letterhead must be provided confirming that only the permit holder is authorized to use the trailer.
Permit Installation
- The permit must be affixed near the trailer hitch.
- In case of loss or damage, a replacement fee of $15 applies.
Change of Boat and/or Trailer During the Season
- Return the removed permit along with the receipt to the City.
- Replacement fee: $15
