Dog License Renewals

The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to remind you that an identification tag and annual payment of the registration fee are mandatory for all dogs. Annual payment must be made before April 30, 2025. Licenses are valid from May 1 of the current year to April 30 of the following year. Dog owners who fail to pay the registration renewal fee are liable to a fine of up to $1,500. 

How much does a license renewal cost? 

The annual fee is $25. A $5 fee is charged for a lost identification tag.  

There is no fee for a guide dog license, upon presentation of proof. 

How do I renew my license? 

Payment is made via the emili.pet online platform. With just a few clicks, you can make your payment online, schedule reminders for future payments and update the profile of your dog(s).
