As the holiday season approaches, the City of Pointe-Claire would like to remind you of our collection schedule for this period. For all the details, or to consult the complete schedule, visit the collections page of our website.

Sector A

Organics: December 23 and December 30

Recycling: December 26 and January 2

Household waste: December 24 and January 7

Sector B

Organics: December 23 and December 30

Recycling: December 26 and January 2

Household waste: December 31 and January 14

Christmas tree collection

To participate, place your tree at the curb on January 9, 2025, after 6 p.m., with the trunk towards the street. To prepare, consult the instructions for Christmas tree collection. Natural Christmas trees will be collected on Friday, January 10. All natural Christmas trees will be accepted (fir, pine, spruce, birch). Please ensure that the following guidelines are respected for this special collection:

Trunk diameter must not exceed 13 centimetres (5 inches);

Tree height must not exceed 2.5 meters (8 feet);

All decorations must be removed;

Trees must be placed horizontally (not upright in the snow).

Bulky waste collection

You can also bring your Christmas tree and other bulky items to the ecocentres serving the City of Pointe-Claire. The nearest are located in Saint-Laurent, at 3535 rue Sartelon, and in LaSalle, at 7272 rue St-Patrick.
