Municipal buildings: reduced services due to winter storm

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that, due to severe weather conditions, the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre, the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre and the Pointe-Claire Public Library will remain open, but with reduced staff and services. Please note that these facilities are warming centres, if necessary.
We remind you that during a major winter storm, you should avoid non-essential travel. If you must go out, give yourself extra time and adjust your driving habits accordingly: reduce your speed, keep a safe distance and turn on your headlights.
Here are a few safety tips for winter driving:
Accumulated snow may also partially obstruct sidewalks, making them slippery, so please ensure to walk with caution. Choose footwear with good grip, and make sure you are visible to motorists before crossing the street. Keep your distance from snow removal vehicles. Everyone's safety is our priority.
