Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre to Begin Major Renovation Project on May 18

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that a major renovation and modernization project for the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre will begin on Monday, May 18.

Approved by City Council in April, this project represents an important investment in one of our most popular community spaces, and aims to make the facility more accessible, secure and better adapted to meet the needs of its members. 

This project will include the renovation and modernization of the existing locker rooms, administrative offices and reception area. 

The Aquatic Centre will remain open throughout the renovation period, which is expected to take 18 months to complete. Work will be carried out in two main phases.

Impacts on Visitors and Aquatic Programming

Activities and programming will be maintained throughout the project, though certain small adjustments to class times or locations will be made as necessary.
