STM: Launch of New Bus Network on May 18
The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) will be launching its new bus network with the opening of the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) Anse-à-l’Orme branch, scheduled for Monday, May 18.
Bus routes have been redesigned to provide better service coverage, improve travel efficiency, and ensure better connections with REM stations. This major network redesign affects more than 80 bus routes across six boroughs and nine demerged cities. This redesign followed several phases of public consultation conducted by the STM.
Plan Your Trips
Since February, the STM has introduced several tools to help residents through this transition and better understand upcoming changes. These resources include:
- The Plan your trip simulator allowing users to visualize and plan future trips under the new bus network
- Dedicated web page featuring maps and key information about the redesigned bus network
- Public information sessions, including one which will be held at Pointe-Claire City Hall on Thursday, April 30, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
For more information about the new bus routes and available tools, please visit the STM website.
