Pointe-Claire to Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Pointe-Claire Volunteer Rescue Unit
As announced during the April City Council meeting, the City of Pointe-Claire will be celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Pointe-Claire Volunteer Rescue Unit this year. To mark this important milestone, the City will be organizing a first celebratory event on Sunday, May 3.

75 Years of History
Since 1951, the Pointe-Claire Volunteer Rescue Unit has proudly been serving its community. Hundreds of highly trained men and women have taken on the responsibility of protecting and assisting their fellow citizens in times of need.
Whether it be large-scale events, critical emergency situations, search and rescue missions or widespread power outages, the rescue unit has consistently been present when the community needed it most.
