Swearing-In of the New City Council

The members of the new City Council were sworn in on Saturday afternoon at City Hall, officially taking office in accordance with the results of the November 2 election. 

Meet the new 2025-2029 Pointe-Claire City Council:

In the center, Mayor John Belvedere, surrounded by council members (from left to right): Claudine Demers (District 1), Ludovic Matthews (District 2), Kelly Thorstad-Cullen (District 3), Andrew Swidzinski (District 4), Cynthia Homan (District 5), Bruno Tremblay (District 6), Eric Stork (District 7), and Mike Potvin (District 8).

The first council meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m., at City Hall, 451 Saint-Jean Boulevard. Council meetings are also webcast live on our Council Meetings web page.
