Take Part in an Information Session About Stormwater Management on Wednesday, May 27
The City of Pointe-Claire invites you to attend an information session on stormwater management. The session will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber (451 Saint-Jean Boulevard). For this presentation, the City will be joined by experts from two organizations: Écohabitation and Architecture sans frontières Québec.
As part of the City’s efforts to support residents in addressing the challenges brought on by climate change, this session will present practical solutions to help better protect your property.
During the session, you will learn about:
- The City of Pointe-Claire’s initiatives to strengthen community resilience and support residents in adapting their homes;
- Available options to adapt your home against flooding;
- Landscaping methods that help prevent water infiltration;
- Best practices recommended by experts in climate resilience and sustainable architecture.
A question-and-answer period will follow the presentations, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their concerns with the speakers.
This session is one of the initiatives included in our action plan to improve the resilience of both our community and our territory. It is the third conference offered by the City on the topic of climate resilience.
