The City of Pointe-Claire informs you that, due to work being carried out by the City of Montreal, a short interruption to the drinking water supply will take place on June 2, 3 and 4 on Du-Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road, between De Lansdowne Garden and Lakeview avenues.

Affected addresses

  • 116 to9 156 Du-Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road;
  • 3 to 13 Kinkora Alley;
  • Reduced water pressure may also affect nearby streets.

Water interruption

  • Scheduled dates: Tuesday June 2, Wednesday June 3 and Thursday June 4, at any time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., for a duration of less than 30 minutes. If you are affected, you will receive a paper notice prior to the interruption.
  • Work carried out by: City of Montreal

Possible water discolouration

This work may cause temporary water discolouration in nearby streets. This discolouration is temporary and not harmful.

If your water becomes discoloured, please follow these instructions:

  • Turn on your cold water tap (preferably the bathtub or kitchen sink tap) and let the water run until it becomes clear again.
  • If your tap is fitted with an aerator, unscrew the tip before running the water.
  • Make sure the water is clear before using hot water or water-operated appliances, including your refrigerator’s water dispenser if applicable, to avoid stains or damage.
  • Avoid using your washing machine while the water is discoloured during this work period. Ensure the water is clear before doing laundry.
  • If you notice stains on clothing after doing laundry due to discoloured water: a cleaning product is available free of charge at the City Hall Multiservice counter.

Thank you for your understanding.
