Playground Work (for children aged 18 months to 5 years) at Lansdowne Gardens Park
The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to inform you that work on the toddler playground (18 months to 5 years) at Lansdowne Gardens Park will begin during the week of August 11, 2025, and continue until the end of October 2025. Please note that these dates may vary depending on weather conditions.
The work will include:
- Replacing playground equipment and surfaces;
- Repairing trails;
- Upgrading the existing ditch and drainage system;
- Landscaping and repairing grassed areas.
A project born of citizen participation
This work follows the online consultation carried out at the beginning of 2025. Your ideas, comments and preferences have guided the design of this space, designed to provide a safe, stimulating environment adapted to the needs of young children.
Preventive felling of diseased ash trees
In the interest of environmental health, some diseased ash trees will have to be felled. This is necessary to protect the other trees and ensure the long-term survival of the park’s vegetation.
Traffic during the work
Machinery will be installed in the parking lot on Lansdowne Gardens Avenue.
Local traffic will be maintained during the work. Road users are asked to remain more vigilant and slow down to keep the workers safe.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
