Stair Replacement Work to Begin at Cedar Park Heights Park

The City of Pointe-Claire informs you that work at Cedar Park Heights Park began this week and will continue until the end of June.

The work will replace the existing stairs with a natural stone staircase, harmoniously integrated into the slope of the land. Natural stones will be placed on either side of the staircase to stabilize the embankment, soften the slope, and create terraces in the planting area, thus facilitating maintenance.

The project also includes the installation of handrails on each side of the staircase, equipped with integrated lighting. In addition, it includes planting vegetation over an area of ​​approximately 136 m² (1,464 square feet) and refurbishment of a section of the adjacent pathway.

As a preventive measure and to ensure everyone’s safety, pedestrian traffic will be detoured on certain park pathways during this period. Local traffic will be maintained at all times.
