REM Structure Inspection Work – Overnight Closures of Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40)

The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to inform residents that inspection work on the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) structures will require closures of Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) under the Saint-Jean Boulevard overpass during the night of August 13 to 14.

Traffic Obstructions and Circulation

Westbound: Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) will be completely closed under the Saint-Jean Boulevard overpass from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. The westbound entrance to Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) at Bancroft Avenue will also be closed.

  • Motorists will be required to take the following detour: the westbound service road to the entrance to Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) near Fairview Avenue.

Eastbound: Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) will be completely closed under the Saint-Jean Boulevard overpass from 1 to 5 a.m. The eastbound entrance to Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) at Kirkland will also be closed.

  • Motorists will be required to take the following detour: the eastbound service road to the entrance to Félix-Leclerc Highway (A-40) near Doyon Avenue.

We encourage motorists to plan their trips, follow posted signage and slow down when approaching work zones to help ensure everyone's safety.
