Territory and Planning Located in - District 7 - Northview
The Orchard of Solidarity was inaugurated in 2020 in memory of the citizens who died from COVID-19. Nearly 80 fruit trees, including apple, plum, and pear trees, have been planted near the Viburnum entrance of the Terra-Cotta nature park. It is an ideal place for a picnic with family or friends.
Vegetable growing bins and gardens have also been added to allow for a harvest from the first year. All fruits and vegetables are harvested for a community organization in the western region of the Island of Montreal to provide food assistance to those in need.
We ask residents not to pick fruits and vegetables.
