Traffic Refurbishment of the trails and lighting in Northview Park
Description
Locations: Northview Park, between Viking and Vanguard Avenues
The objectives of this work are to improve the universal accessibility of the chalet and facilities, improve the park’s lighting and facilitate lighting maintenance, increase the vegetated areas, make the site more user-friendly, and mitigate the water accumulation issues along the trail and in front of the chalet.
Timeline
May 2025
Repairing the chalet entrance;
Moving certain trails away from the roots of mature trees;
Completely repairing the park’s trails;
Replacing existing streetlamps with more economical and environmentally friendly solar-powered models.

Traffic during the work
To ensure everyone’s safety, detours will be in place during certain phases of the work.
The park will remain accessible, and only the construction zones will be closed to the public. Local traffic will be maintained at all times. Please follow the temporary signs on site.
