Parent Guide 2025

Day Camp Program 2025

Schedule

Day camps will run from June 23 to August 15, 2025.
The program is offered by the week, so you can choose the dates and camps that best suit your needs.

Camps

  • Cultural camps: a stimulating cultural and artistic experience in a fun setting: visual arts, performing arts, music and science.
  • Recreational camps: fun recreational activities organized around a different theme each week.
  • Paddling camps: introduction to water sports and learning about water safety in an environment focused on helping each other and community spirit.

Association des camps du Québec (ACQ)

The Association des camps du Québec (ACQ) certification program defines the best practices to ensure the safety and quality of municipal day camp programs by establishing requirements for safety, supervision, programming, environment and nutrition.

The City of Pointe-Claire’s sports and recreation camps received ACQ certification in 2017. This certification must be renewed every year.

Accessibility

If your child wants to participate in a day camp and has special needs, please contact us so that we can assess the possibility of providing them with an accessible, safe and fun environment. If necessary, we will refer you to a community organization for additional support.

The City of Pointe-Claire has an adapted bicycle to give all children the chance to make the most of Teen Camp activities.

Paddling camps offer a program adapted for people with disabilities.
