Parks Program and Youth Centre

The Parks Program and the Youth Centre offer free activities for young residents aged 8 to 18.

During the summer season, young citizens aged 8 to 18 are invited to take part in the various activities offered free of charge in their local parks. Choices offered include soccer, hockey, basketball, flag football, dodgeball, excursions, and more.
(Please note that excursions involve an additional fee).

2026 Season

For the 2026 season, the Parks Program will be active from June 29 to August 21 (dates subject to change).
(Closed on July 1st)

The activities take place Monday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 to 4:30 p.m. (please note there is no supervision between 12 and 1 p.m.), and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the following parks:

  • Cedar Park Heights Park (20 Robinsdale Avenue)
  • Hermitage Park (400 Hermitage Avenue)
  • Kinsmen Park (50 Belton Avenue)
  • Northview Park (111 Viking Avenue)
  • Valois Park (85 Belmont Avenue)

Information

  • Children are free to come and go as they please, and parents are always welcome to join in.

Schedule

In the fall and winter, the Parks Program moves its activities indoors. On Friday evenings, the Youth Centre welcomes young citizens to chalets and parks for a variety of activities and interesting outings around Pointe-Claire. Please refer to the chart below for specific times and locations.

2026 Season

For the 2026 winter season, the Youth Centre is open on Fridays from January 23 to April 2026.

Schedule

Participants can register with staff on the day of the activity. The young citizens are free to come and go as they please. Parents are welcome. 

Please make sure to have a valid MULTI card to participate in activities.
