Education

The Stewart Hall Cultural Centre and Art Gallery is committed to making art and culture accessible to everyone. Through educational tours and creative workshops tailored to each age group, our cultural mediation team, specialized in visual arts, invites participants to discover, explore, and experience art in all its forms.

The Stewart Hall Cultural Centre and Art Gallery offers creative workshops and immersive tours lasting about one hour, designed for young children, from ages 3 to 5, covering the CPE to Kindergarten. Each year, based on current exhibitions and a variety of themes, we present performances, scavenger hunts, and specialized tour-workshops.

Performances

Preschool performances are offered once or twice a year. Prices vary depending on the show. Payment is made on-site at the Cultural Centre reception desk by credit card, debit card, check, or cash.

Search-and-Workshop Activity

This activity, offered only in the spring, invites preschool-aged children to explore the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre and the current exhibitions at the Stewart Hall Art Gallery and the Kids' Corner. It is a guided, interactive hunt following a theme related to the ongoing exhibitions.

The Stewart Hall Cultural Centre and Art Gallery offers 1.5-hour creative workshops and educational tours inspired by the Gallery’s exhibitions, the Kids’ Corner, and the artworks in Stewart Park. The school program is available to elementary and high school groups of all levels. Several types of tour-workshops are offered each year.

The Stewart Hall Cultural Centre and Art Gallery offers creative workshops and educational tours lasting from 1 to 2 hours for adults of all levels and backgrounds, including CEGEPs and universities, community organizations, language schools, and senior centers, among others. Our services can be tailored to meet the needs of each group.

All our programs are free of charge and open to everyone. As space is limited, priority is given to schools and organizations in the City of Pointe-Claire.
