Description

Over the course of the residency Julie will produce a new “photo-roman” artwork, with Stewart Hall as the setting, and dialogue spoken by puppets. The artist will create a working space in the gallery, where she will be surrounded by her tools and art supplies. The dialogue for the photo-roman will be based on conversations she has with visitors, who will be invited to take a seat, and choose a random topic to talk over with her.

Artist Julie Lequin will be in residence in the Project Room of the Stewart Hall Art Gallery from January 27 to February 12 and March 25 to April 2.
