Mini-exhibition: 1,2,3; joy!

As part of our Kids’ Corner mini-exhibitions, Annick Gaudreault will present a selection of illustrations that will spread… a little joy!

As an illustrator and visual artist, Annick Gaudreault creates personal and humanistic representations of some of life’s moments and inspiring people. Using a mixed media technique that involves acrylic paint for texture and digital technology for composition, she creates organic and colourfully vibrant works.

Both gentle and determined, her poetic yet realistic works are a meditation on empathy, feminist values, diversity, self-compassion, and comfort, while also celebrating beauty. Her illustrations are a refuge from an often-cruel world, and a helping hand that offers some much-needed feel-good vibes.
