Pointe-Claire Days

From August 6 to 10, the City of Pointe-Claire is pleased to invite residents to join the celebrations during Pointe-Claire Days! For five days, the City’s parks, libraries and facilities will come alive with free activities for the whole family. Whether you're passionate about art, music, the outdoors or cultural discoveries, there's something for everyone to enjoy! A diverse program for all ages:

Wednesday, August 6

• Interactive storytelling workshop for children ages 6 to 11 and their parents at the Pointe-Claire Public Library – Central (4 to 5 p.m.)
• Concert by Bumaranga at Stewart Hall Park (7:30 to 9 p.m.)

Thursday, August 7

• Cooking class for seniors at the Baie-de-Valois Chalet (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) – reservation required
• Yoga stretch at Edgewater Park (5 to 5:45 p.m.)
• Boxing with Grant Brother Boxing at Edgewater Park (6 to 7 p.m.)

Friday, August 8

• Family art workshop at Stewart Hall Park  (3 to 6 p.m.) 
• Family yoga at Stewart Hall Park (5 to 5:45 p.m.)
• Glow Paddle at Baie-de-Valois Nautical Centre (8:30 to 10:30 p.m.) – reservation on LUDIK and MULTI card required

Saturday, August 9

• K-Pop dance workshop for adults at Stewart Hall Park (11 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
• Drop-in craft activity at the Pointe-Claire Public Library – Central (1:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
• Free admission to the International Cuisine event! Come and try delicious foods from around the world. Enjoy a drop-in art workshop (pastel and collage), a food forest garden booth, live DJ, salsa and samba performances, games and many more activities at the Bob-Birnie Arena parking lot (4 to 7:30 p.m.)

Sunday, August 10

Come join us for the very first edition of Bark in the Park next to the Terra-Cotta Dog Park, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. A great opportunity to enjoy some quality time with your four-legged friends!

All week long

• Residents can access recreational swims at the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre and public activities and skates at the Bob-Birnie Arena free of charge, Wednesday through Friday (MULTI card required)
