Description of Location
The Aquatic Centre has three swimming pools and a wading pool: the Olympic-level George-Gate pool (50 m, 10 lanes) with five springboards (1 and 3 m) and four platforms (3, 5, 7.5 and 10 m), the Malcolm-Knox pool (50 m, 6 lanes) and the 25-yard pool for lessons. You can take swimming, diving and lifeguard lessons, enjoy recreational swimming and many other activities.
The Aquatic Centre offers diversified recreational and competitive programs for all ages. The Olympic Way program offers swimming and diving lessons and training for all levels. The centre also offers lifeguard courses, and swimming and diving sessions at the recreational, competitive, and Olympic levels.
The facility also has a weight room, and multipurpose rooms for gym and fitness classes.
