Several people have noticed a strong odour in the vicinity of Lake Saint-Louis over the last few days. This is caused by the low water level in Lake Saint-Louis, which exposes algae and leads to its decomposition in the heat.

The situation will only be resolved once there has been sufficient rainfall to raise the water level.
