Pointe-Claire’s Sports Programs and Facilities Are Ready for the Summer Season
After a winter full of exciting activities, the fun continues this summer! Sports enthusiasts can look forward to a wide range of outdoor activities and programs throughout the season in Pointe-Claire.
Here is an overview of what the City of Pointe-Claire has in store for the 2025 summer season:
Soccer
Open soccer sessions are already underway at Terra-Cotta Natural Park! Check out the soccer schedule on the Terra-Cotta Natural Park webpage. Grab your soccer ball, running shoes, and water bottle and come take advantage of the fields’ public hours!
Baseball
Several parks in Pointe-Claire offer a baseball/softball diamond for public use, rentals, or casual play when no organized games are scheduled. To find out which parks feature these fields, consult our interactive map.
Tennis, Pickleball and Basketball
Tennis, pickleball and basketball courts are now open to the public. Consult the interactive map to find out where these courts are located. Please note that one of the Valois Park tennis courts is currently under repair and will be accessible in early June 2025.

Outdoor Pools
Local pool associations are ready to welcome you for the 2025 season!
Come cool off and enjoy a free swim at Pointe-Claire’s outdoor pools during our open houses this weekend.
Open House Hours:
Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Special Schedules:
- Valois Pool: June 14, 12 to 8 p.m. (open to all); June 15, 12 to 3 p.m. (members only), 3 to 8 p.m. (open to all)
- Pointe-Claire Village Pool: The pool is not yet ready to open for the season and will not be hosting an open house this upcoming weekend.

Splash Pads
Our splash pads at Valois Park and Augusta Park are the perfect way to stay fresh on those hot summer days! They’re open every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Please note that the Valois Park splash pad is temporarily closed for maintenance to ensure the best possible experience for visitors. To be informed of its reopening, visit the Valois Park splash pads work notice page.
Skatepark
Open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., the Pointe-Claire skatepark, located on Douglas-Shand Avenue, offers a variety of features for all levels: street furniture, a bowl, capsule, mini ramp, and wave. Helmets are mandatory.
Freshly painted, the facility is now open to all thrill-seekers!
Outdoor Fitness Park
Located on Maywood Avenue, the outdoor fitness park is now open for public use. Consult our interactive map to find its exact location.
Boules Sports
Did you know Pointe-Claire has Lawn Bowling and Pétanque facilities? Consult the Lawn Bowling website, or email the Pétanque club at calbery64@hotmail.com, for more information about membership and club activities.
Parks and Green Spaces
The City boasts over 40 parks and green spaces across its territory, many with outdoor ping-pong tables, play areas, and accessible furniture. Use the website’s interactive map to find the nearest park and its service offering.
Baie-de-Valois Nautical Centre
Kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and other watercrafts are available for rent to residents and non-residents. For information on its programming, schedules and rental costs, please consult our Boat Rental page.
Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre
Offering everything from badminton and volleyball to group fitness classes, this Sports Centre has what you need to stay active this summer. Its strength and conditioning areas are fully equipped to support your fitness goals. For more information about the facility and memberships, visit our Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre page.
Please note that the Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre will be closed for maintenance for a period of nine days, from August 11 to August 19, 2025, inclusively. We will provide more information as the closure date approaches.
Bob-Birnie Arena
The Bob-Birnie arena is offering public activity sessions throughout the summer, including public skating, hockey, ringette, and figure skating. Find the weekly schedule on the Bob-Birnie Arena page.
Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre
Enjoy a variety of swimming options all summer long, including lane swimming, family swim sessions and diving. Activities are available for all ages and skill levels. Check out Aquatic Centre page for a full list of programs and activities.
