Changes to Day Camp Programming and Parks Program – Heat Wave

The City of Pointe-Claire advises that due to the ongoing heat wave, precautionary measures will be in place to ensure the well-being and safety of children and staff on Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3.

Cooling breaks will be held every 20 minutes, and low-intensity activities will be organized.

Parks Program

The following parks programs will be relocated to parks with air-conditioned chalets:

• Cedar and Hermitage Park: to Kinsmen Park
• Northview Park: to Valois Park

All day camps organized by the City are held in air-conditioned buildings.
