Drilling in Terra-Cotta Natural Park

The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to inform you that drilling work will take place in Terra-Cotta Natural Park, near Belmont Avenue, from April 16 to May 1, 2026. 

Crews will set up on grassy areas with specialized machinery. No traffic disruption is expected during this period.

What is Drilling Work?

Drilling involves digging into or penetrating the ground using specialized equipment to take samples for analysis.

Why is This Work Being Done?

These analyses will enable the City to assess the soil characteristics before designing the development and stormwater management project in the Terra-Cotta Natural Park area. The results will help plan the next steps safely and efficiently.
