Temporary Closure of the Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre Elevator

The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that the elevator at the Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre is temporarily out of service due to modernization work. The elevator is expected to remain unavailable until early October 2026.

During this period, access to the upper floor and basement levels, including the weight room, squash courts, locker rooms, and multipurpose rooms, will not be possible by elevator. The ground floor will remain accessible to those with reduced mobility via the access ramp located at the main entrance

Members with specific accessibility needs are encouraged to contact us at centresportif@pointe-claire.ca or speak with reception staff to discuss accommodations and available options during the work.
