Upcoming Collections in October
The dates of all collections in your area are listed in the collection calendar.
Household Waste Collection: 2 Trucks
To optimize operations, two trucks are used for household waste collection: one collects mechanized bins, while the other collects small bins, garbage bags, and upholstered items.
If your bin is still at the curb after one truck has passed, please wait until the following morning before reporting a missed collection. A second vehicle may collect it later in the day.
This procedure applies only to household waste collection.
Leaf Collection
Leaf collections will take place on October 5 and 19. On collection days, you can place your containers and paper leaf bags at the curb.
Accepted containers:
- The City's green 80-, 120- and 240-litre wheeled organic waste bins;
- Reusable containers with a maximum capacity of 100 litres;
- Cardboard boxes;
- Paper bags, with or without a cellulosic film lining.

Mattress and Box Spring Collection
A mattress and box spring collection will take place on October 7 in Sector A and October 8 in Sector B. Please note that sofas and armchairs are not accepted during this collection. They must be brought to the ecocentre or disposed of as household waste.
Items must be placed at the curb after 6 p.m. the evening before or before 7 a.m. on the day of collection.
Visit the Mattress and Box Spring webpage for all collection guidelines.

Bulky Item Collection
A bulky item collection will take place on Wednesday, October 14.
Bulky items are large, non-upholstered objects that are too big to be placed in a bag, box or garbage bin. They include, for example, certain pieces of furniture or large items that can be recovered and recycled.
Important: Only accepted items will be collected. Items that are not accepted or that are placed at the curb at the wrong time must be removed by the person who placed them there.
Mattresses and box springs are not accepted in this collection, as they are collected separately. Bulky items must not be placed with household waste.
Not everything is a bulky item! Visit the webpage to find out which items are accepted and refused during this collection.
