Why sign up for the alert service?
By registering, you will receive:
Emergency Alerts
Emergency alerts include extreme weather conditions, evacuation orders, power outages, and more.
General Notices
General notices include boil water advisories, road closures, planned work, changes to collection schedules, discolored water, water meter readings, and other important information for you.
How does it work?
When a notice needs to be issued, the system sends alerts via voice call, text message, email, and through the mobile app, based on the options you selected.
Phone Call: If you don’t answer right away, the system will leave a voicemail (if your voicemail is active) or will try calling you again up to three times within 15 minutes of the first attempt.
How to register?
- Create your account on the platform.
- Choose your preferred contact methods: phone (call or text), or email. You can choose more than one method to make sure you receive messages at the right time.
- Download the CodeRED Mobile Alert app to receive alerts while on the go, based on your location.
