Call for Applications: Pointe-Claire Canoe Kayak Club’s Board of Directors

The City of Pointe-Claire is seeking two motivated volunteers to serve on the Pointe-Claire Canoe Kayak Club’s Board of Directors. One term ends on December 31, 2027, and the other on December 31, 2028.  

Mandate and Expectations

Board members participate in meetings, review matters affecting the Club, share their experience and expertise, and help make decisions related to the Club’s direction, policies, finances and activities.  

Those appointed to the Board of Directors will be expected to participate in three to four meetings per year, as well as volunteer at events throughout the year and provide additional support as needed.

Submitting Your Application

The Club is seeking volunteers with relevant experience in the field of sports or sports management, as well as some knowledge or expertise in finance, business, education, legal or medicine.

Being a resident of Pointe-Claire is considered an asset but not an obligation.

Your application must include an up-to-date resume and a cover letter highlighting your interest in being appointed to the Club’s Board of Directors. Please send your application to recreation@pointe-claire.ca no later than November 2, 2026.
