The City of Pointe-Claire invites you to come together to celebrate Canada Day on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Alexandre-Bourgeau Park. Families can enjoy a full day of activities and entertainment in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
Celebrations will also take place throughout the Pointe-Claire Village sector, offering plenty of opportunities to make the most of the event.
Wednesday, July 1, 2026
2 to 10:30 p.m.
Alexandre-Bourgeau Park
In case of rain, activities will be moved to the Olive-Urquhart Sports Centre (230 Brunswick Boulevard).
2 to 3 p.m.: Citizenship Ceremony at the Stewart Hall Cultural Centre
(176 Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road)
2 to 6 p.m.: Free swim at the Pointe-Claire Village Pool
(5B Sainte-Anne Avenue)
2 to 8:30 p.m.: Inflatable games, photo booth, mobile climbing wall, face painting, and more!
3 p.m.: Break City Hip Hop performance
3:30 to 6:30 p.m.: Entertainment in the Village
(263 Du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore Road)
4 p.m.: RCMP Pipes and Drums parade from the Village to the stage
4:30 to 5:30 p.m.: Meet your elected officials in the Village
5:30 p.m.: Zumba for all ages
6:45 p.m.: Official remarks
7:15 p.m.: Bao Magic – live magic and mentalism
8 p.m.: Musical performance by Centerstage
10:10 p.m.: Fireworks presented by FAE, launched from a barge on Lake Saint-Louis (weather permitting)
A DJ will provide music throughout the day from 2 to 10 p.m., and a variety of food vendors will be available on site.
Be among the first 100 people to visit the information booth with your own reusable meal items (utensils, plates, cups, etc.) for a chance to win a $50 gift card to a local Pointe-Claire business.
