Launch of Our Rebranded 2025 Road Safety Campaign
The City of Pointe-Claire would like to inform you that it will be launching its annual Road Safety Campaign in honour of the UN Global Road Safety Week. This campaign, centred around promoting proper driving, cycling and walking habits, as well as the importance of demonstrating safety and courtesy while sharing the road, has had its image and slogan rebranded for 2025.
The campaign’s brand image will focus on you and everyone who makes up the Pointe-Claire community. Each week, the City will highlight a different road safety theme, from bike safety and nighttime travel to zero tolerance on the road and cautious driving habits in construction zones.
Our new slogan, Share the Road, Save a Life!, is a reminder that we all play a key role in keeping our community safe. By being mindful, sharing the road, and making smart choices, we help protect one another.
Each week, the second half of the slogan will adapt to match the week’s theme, for instance:
- Share the Road, Save Steven, a construction worker
- Share the Road, Save Mary, a 6-year-old girl
- Share the Road, Save Martin, a cyclist
Plan and Objectives for the Campaign
The strategy behind the campaign is simple: educate the community on the common causes of road accidents and what we can do to prevent them.
Through a weekly interactive social media campaign, a page on our website dedicated to road safety, quizzes and educational activities, installation of speed radars and other road safety initiatives, our goal is to sensitize and protect the community.
With the help of our Inspection – Public Security Department, our educative campaign will be our greatest asset in spreading awareness for the importance of being a safe, knowing how to protect yourself and others, and practicing proper road safety habits.
Your community’s safety is in your hands. Share the Road, Save a Life!
